- Originate, prepare and deliver project documentation and engineering design deliverables
- Provide technical oversight to sub-contract packages of work
- Attend and contribute to engineering/project meetings
- Attend and participate in sub-contract/client design reviews
- Check and review engineering and project deliverables and outputs and provide constructive feedback
- Bid support
- Communicate effectively with all members
- Interpretation of mechanical engineering drawings
- Experience of optioneering
- Experience of developing requirements
- Experience of producing PP&E concept designs
- Authoring of engineering documentation (e.g. optioneering report, basis of design, calculation report)
- Experience of working in a highly regulated industry
- Glovebox systems design
- HVAC / nuclear ventilation experience
- Inventor or other solid modelling CAD software experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a technical discipline- Essential
- Membership of appropriate technical / professional body- Desirable
- Understanding of the Project lifecycle and how projects are delivered - Essential
- Basic understanding of the UK Nuclear Industry- Essential
- Understanding of the radiological controls used within the type of projects delivered-Desirable
- Used to dealing with confidential and commercial information- Desirable
