Join an international engineering and contracting organisation, providing services to the Energy Sector. This is a full-time, permanent position. Hybrid working is available, as well as a 9-day fortnight.
As Senior Buyer, you’ll report to the Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for the coordination and implementation for the procurement of required goods and services.
Monitoring existing purchasing procedures to ensure that the procurement process is effective and identify any procedural improvements.
Negotiating the best possible price whilst ensuring vendors can arrange accurate and timely delivery.
Processing requisitions, RFQ’s, quotes and the issue of Purchase Orders to suppliers, for both Materials and Service Orders (in SAP and IFS).
Managing Asset Procurement Status Reporting.
Expediting orders to ensure that all promised delivery times from approved vendors are monitored and met.
Significant experience in a similar purchasing/procurement role, ideally within the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience of working with SAP.
