Drone Pilot / UAS Operator

Remote - Anywhere UK, with international deployment

£35,000 basic, plus deployment rate

Airbotics Talent are excited to partner with a leading UK based drone platform provider who operate on a global scale with industry leading technology. Our client have won a large international project which requires the hiring of 3-4 Drone Pilots / Operators who are motivated to work oversees on a 4 week on, 2-4 week off rotation.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to operate cutting edge, heavy payload fixed wing drones in an international environment on missions supporting aid and transportation of vital supplies to remote access locations.

You will be required to pre-flight mission plan, conduct risk assessments, develop ConOps and ensure compliance to safety standards. In additional you will be expected to collect field data , provide basic UAV maintenance and repairs and complete required documentation. Working as part of a tight knit team you will be supporting other Operators and colleagues in the field to help deliver on complex missions and shared goals and support broader training and development.

Requirements

• A passion for aviation technology and a safety conscious approach

• Experience in operating / piloting drones in either a commercial or military setting

• A positive, team focused attitude, supporting other Operators in reaching goals

• Currently based in the UK with relevant right to work

• The ability to spend time away from home in the field, both domestically or internationally, for up to 4 weeks at a time
