Are you an experienced Facilities Technician looking for a new role?

TXM Recruit are working in partnership with an organisation who are recruiting for a Facilities Technician on a permanent basis paying £42, 516 per annum in Cambridge.

The Depot Facilities Technician will be responsible for the provision of planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to building services, fixed plant, and equipment. This includes CET, fuel, Adblue, and tanking facilities across multiple depots and sidings. The role involves afternoon and evening shifts, with on-call duties one week in every four.

Perform planned preventative maintenance on building services and fixed plant.
Conduct reactive repairs to ensure the efficient operation of equipment such as CET, fuel, Adblue, and tanking facilities.
Maintain and repair plumbing, drainage, and water distribution systems.
Troubleshoot and repair PLC operated systems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) Electrical qualification.
Good understanding of PLC operated systems.
Proven experience in maintaining and repairing a wide range of facilities and equipment.
Willingness to work afternoon and evening shifts and be on call one week in four.
Full UK driving license.Job Title: Facilities Technician
