Financial Accounting Manager

Reporting to the Director of Finance and managing a team of senior accountants, junior accountants, and third party contractors.
Owning the accounting department's day-to-day operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer/vendor queries, and banking.
Managing all major accounting projects by monitoring and distributing department work to direct reports and third party contractors.
Support FP&A in providing ad hoc reporting requests for management, stakeholders, and external parties such as suppliers, investors, and lenders.
Ascertaining that all accounts and accounting processes are in compliance with country-specific rules.
Providing all accounting and financial reports and documents needed by the company's external auditors and tax consultants.
Managing month-end and year-end close process, ensuring they are done properly, on schedule, and comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Calculating and filing corporate tax returns for the company to the nation's revenue authorities.
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
~ 6-8+ years accounting/finance experience.
~2-3+ years experience overseeing day-to-day accounting/finance operations (AP, AR, Close).
~Experience in process implementation / continual improvement.
~ Strong people manager able to develop direct reports and manage various projects at once.
