❗Our client is looking for a Hands-on Head of Technology / CTO , to join the London-based Team.
They are a pioneering Tech firm revolutionising End of Life Planning They are on a mission to digitalise estate planning, will writing, pensions, power of attorney, life insurance, funeral wishes, and even social media plans.
As a hands-on Head of Technology, reporting directly to the CEO and Founder, you will lead their tech initiatives, and you will play a critical role in shaping the engineering team structure to scale successfully with their ambitious growth plans.
As a passionate technology enthusiast, you'll oversee architecture while inspiring and guiding the firm's engineering teams, by setting a stellar example.
Your expertise in PHP, Laravel, and Vue.js will drive innovation and excellence, propelling their mission forward.
You will make a meaningful impact, driving technological advancements and leading teams to success in a growing company.

This Hands-on Head of Technology / CTO role, is a permanent role paying up to £150,000 + Shares + benefits
Working in a hybrid model, with 3 days per week in the office, you can work remotely up to 2 days a week.
You can also work remotely, anywhere in the world for up to 4 weeks per year.

As the Hands-on Head of Technology / CTO, you will have a 8-10 person team to support you, you will work closely with the CMO and the CEO to develop and implement the product roadmap for the business.
This vacancy would suit a confident, passionate Head of Technology / CTO, who loves to see the value-add of technology innovation to a company’s bottom-line and strategic growth path.
Responsible for the strategy and delivery of all engineering projects and you will develop, plan, resource, and budget the technology roadmap.
Management of the engineering team, their quality control and their output, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Providing guidance and direction, as well as hands-on resource and project management
Owning the product, setting high UX and performance standards .
Setting a vision for how technology will be used within the company
Create, build and implement the operational planning of the technology strategy in alignment with the company's goals.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable and robust technology solutions to meet business needs and drive growth.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
Embed best practises and operational excellence - you will also be there to assess and offer alternatives to improve the existing processes and help the firm adopt new technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and operations, to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
Monitor and analyse key performance metrics related to technology operations, performance, and efficiency, implementing improvements as needed.
Serve as a thought leader and advocate for technology innovation within the organisation, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

5+ years proven experience in a senior leadership role with a very hands-on, proactive approach.
~ Strong technical background with expertise in Laravel, PHP and Vue.
~ Demonstrated track record of successfully leading complex technology projects from conception to completion, delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
