As Legal counsel you will be responsible for providing expert advice to support wider business operations, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with UK regulations.

Provide legal advice on a broad range of industrial legal matters
Identify and manage legal risks within the business
Assist in the development and implementation of legal compliance programs
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure legal compliance across the company
Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures
Represent the company in legal proceedings
Stay abreast of changes in laws that affect the company and the industrial sector
Deliver training to company staff on legal matters and compliance
A specialist in commercial law with a minimum of 5 years' PQE
Strong understanding of the legal landscape and compliance requirements in the industrial sector
Proven ability to think commercially and apply your legal knowledge in a practical and pragmatic way
Able to work autonomously to proactively manage and mitigate legal risk
