Your Role: As a Textiles Teacher, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Inspire and educate students in the art of textiles.
  • Develop innovative and engaging lesson plans.
  • Encourage creativity and self-expression through hands-on projects.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the textiles curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textiles or a related field.
  • Teaching certification (PGCE/QTS or equivalent).
  • Passion for textiles and a creative approach to teaching.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working with students of all abilities.
  • Knowledge of current teaching methodologies and trends in textiles.
