Job Description Badger Badger is opening a second board gaming pub in West Norwood. Badger Badger is an exciting brand with a unique mix of modern pub, board gaming service and events, Japanese/American fusion street food and day time work space. We are passionate about our local and board gaming community. Badger Badger is a leading provider of wonderful indoor pastimes such as board gaming, trading card games, Nintendo Switch tournaments, table top role play games and indoor crafts events.
You as general manager will lead and support your team from West Norwood with the help of our resources and infrastructure from our existing venue in Deptford (check out our website on google or at and the two hands on owners of the business.
As General Manager you will have the following qualities:
- Our shared passion for amazing food, beautiful beer, wine and cocktails, top quality coffee and gaming but most importantly making a warm and hospitable environment for our lovely guests.
- Strong knowledge of pub fiscal management and driving sales growth.
- We have achieved and value an excellent staff retention by balancing the needs and welfare of our team with the commercial requirements of pub business. Growing the business with a robust service quality and a drive to go out into the community to identify and service its needs.
- Take responsibility for targets such as GP%, wage management, stock control, review scores, hitting a consistent 5 star EHO rating and hitting revenue and profit goals.
- Setting in place and delegating day to day administrative systems such as cellar management, ordering, cleaning and maintenance systems and sales planning.
- Overseeing and maintaining an exceptional product and service quality.
- Maintaining and achieving compliance, safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements.
