This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of fashion with us and bring our creative vision to life.

About the Job:

In this Production Manager role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the production processes of our collections. This position offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional meetings with the founders and visits to production sites. Your compensation will be competitive, reflecting your experience and contributions.

You will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end production process, from initial design consultation and fabric sourcing to quality control and distribution network advising. Your primary goal will be to ensure our products are manufactured to the highest standards, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the brand’s commitment to quality and sustainability.

We are looking for a professional with extensive experience in fashion production management who can demonstrate a track record of successfully managing similar processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of the fashion industry.

Role Description:

  • Oversee the entire production process from initial design to final product delivery.
  • Be able to assist with CADs and tech packs.
  • Provide design consultation by reviewing styles and discussing optimal production methods with ideal RRP's in mind.
  • Source and select high-quality fabrics and trims suitable for the brand's designs.
  • Match colors accurately to maintain brand consistency.
  • Develop trims that enhance the overall garment design and function.
  • Oversee the sampling process, including multiple rounds and comment evaluation.
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement stringent quality control measures throughout the production process.
  • Manage production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing partners and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies, particularly regarding sustainability and ethical practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimise delays and maintain product quality.
  • Advise on distribution networks to optimise the delivery and availability of products.

Role Benefits:

  • Enjoy a flexible work schedule, with the convenience of remote work and occasional visits/meetings.
  • Thrive in a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Receive a competitive remuneration and benefits package.
  • Gain the opportunity to shape the production processes of a leading fashion brand.
  • Work on high-impact projects that directly contribute to the brand’s growth and success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Business, Production Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in production management within the fashion industry, with a focus on menswear.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in production management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Note: The role is self-employed with flextime.
