This role will primarily focus on data governance, risk assessment, tender responses, and breach/incident management. It will be an ideal fit for someone looking to move away from fee earning.
Role: Risk and Compliance Solicitor
Location: South West of England - Bristol/Southampton
Salary: £60,000 to £65,000
The Role:
- Handle a caseload of data governance, risk assessment, tender responses, and breach/incident management
- Work closely with senior members of the firm and the Digital Data and Technology team, especially with regards to information and cyber security
- Advise key members of a busy and supportive team on the SRA Code of Conduct, and data and commercial risk management issues.
The Person:
- A qualified solicitor who has had exposure to data protection law and has a background in non-contentious commercial/contracting/procurement work
- Have experience in either a private practice or an in-house legal team
- This role will require someone who has more than just AML (anti-money laundering) experience
