Libco Logistics Ltd is a delivery service provider based in South Wales. We operate a fleet of circa 40 vans, all 3.5t with a mix of LWB and Luton vans. We have our own mechanical workshop and separate bodyshop based in Rogerstone.

Role Description

This is a hybrid role - you will need to be a hands-on mechanic, doing routine service / maintenance plus breakdown assistance. At the same time you will run a fleet management system across the company. This will involve monitoring vehicle checks, service schedules, urgent repairs, analysing data and - most importantly - keeping in regular communication with the drivers about best practice.

Qualifications / Experience

  • NVQ/IMI Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a mechanic for cars and vans
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems
  • Proficiency with diagnostic equipment
  • Time - served mechanic / fitter
  • Capability / willingness to run the fleet management system
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience with vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and clients
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
