Field Technician - Inverness

We are the leading independent Hydrometric Consultant in the UK, providing water monitoring systems to local authorities, water companies & the Environment Agency. Installation skills, including use of power and hand tools
Passion for working outdoors
Comfortable working in water, able to swim
Good level of computer literacy (MS Office – Word, Excel etc)
Full Manual UK driving licence
National or equivalent in Geography, Maths and English

Science, Geography, Outdoor Education etc)

Full training is provided, so none required provided you have the essential skills listed above
Experience with Hydrometric field data collection is useful but not essential

Flexible/ adaptable approach
Prepared to travel and stay away from home, if required
Interest in working in the water & environment sector
We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team in North of Scotland (Inverness) . The role involves visiting various sites, primarily throughout the North of Scotland (as well as assisting with projects in elsewhere in Scotland / North England), undertaking field measurements of water quantity (flow), depth, quality, rainfall etc, plus the installation, operation and maintenance of telemetry logging equipment.
