Role Overview:

As a Data Consultant and SME in the areas of Data Governance, Data Management and Data Privacy, you will join our small team of experts deployed under the CDO. You will be tasked with transitioning us from a fragmented system of Excel sheets, emails, and regional practices to a centralized, streamlined process powered by cutting-edge tools like Collibra and Ataccama. This role is not just about managing data but about transforming the organizational culture to recognize data as a valuable asset.

We need someone who has previous consulting experience and has deep experince of leading engagements covering Data Governance Strategy, and supporting the intergration of tools like Collibra and Atakama, this is a must have skill.


Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and Plan: Conduct a comprehensive analysis of our current data practices and craft a strategic roadmap for data governance maturity.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Win over and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of data maturity across the organization, advocating for the value of centralized data governance.
- Tool Adoption: Lead the adoption of Collibra and Atakama, ensuring these tools are leveraged to their fullest potential in aligning with our data governance goals.
- Process Standardization: Develop and implement a unified process for data management from ingestion to destruction, clarifying data ownership, sourcing, and governance standards.
- Workshop and Support: Conduct educational workshops and provide hands-on support to promote tooling adoption and process compliance.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor, review, and continuously improve data governance practices to keep pace with organizational and technological changes.

What We're Looking For:

- Proven experience in transforming immature data operations into structured, efficient data governance frameworks.
- Strong practical and technical background in data governance and management, including experience with tools like Collibra and Atakama.
- Exceptional ability to engage and influence stakeholders across global teams.
- Experience in running workshops, training sessions, and supporting tool adoption.
- A broad range of experience from defining data strategies to implementing them and everything in between.
