Senior Project Engineer

In support of Reach Subsea’s growth ambitions we are seeking a Senior Project Engineer, based in Aberdeen, to join the team and help us deliver cutting-edge engineering solutions to our clients.

The Senior Project Engineer will work as part of our dedicated Engineering team. You will be involved in developing method statements and FEED studies, supporting installation analysis and calculations, supporting mobilisations and offshore operations and also coaching and mentoring our junior engineers and graduates. Within Reach Subsea, being part of our Engineering team empowers you to deliver key project scopes across the subsea installation, decommissioning, IRM and renewables sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineering and technical delivery of subsea workscopes for tenders and projects
  • Working with internal departments and subcontractors, develop methods and propose innovative solutions to support optimised operations with clear limitations and safe operating parameters.
  • Provide technical support to procurement, HSEQ and operations on tenders and projects
  • Play a key role in contributing to our continuous improvement and development of our engineering capability in both oil and gas and renewables.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in SURF, IRM, Decommissioning, Renewables and/or other relevant subsea ROV construction projects
  • BSc or higher graduation in a relevant Engineering course
  • Good leadership skills
  • Be an analytical thinker capable of solving complex problems with a knowledge of engineering standards and legislation
