Manufacturing Engineer, Poole, up to £45,000pa + benefits

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in optimising production processes, improving quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing cycle. As the Manufacturing Engineer you’ll benefit from:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:

Oversee new product introduction, establishing efficient production methods and providing guidance to design and production teams.
Implement structured problem-solving techniques to resolve production-related challenges.
Train and mentor operators on production procedures and best practices.
Actively participate in Health and Safety initiatives.
Lead Root Cause Analysis efforts to identify and address underlying issues.
Identify and implement advanced manufacturing techniques.
Analyse and plan workflow, space utilisation, and equipment placement to optimise manufacturing efficiency.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure production equipment remains operational.
Provide Design for Manufacturing (DfM) advice to the Engineering team.
The successful Manufacturing Engineer will:

Be experienced with modern manufacturing processes, particularly assembly of electro-mechanical systems.
Be able to demonstrate sucessful processes and quality improvements within a manufacturing environment.
Having knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks would be beneficial.
