Exciting Opportunity in Refrigeration Engineering
We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to join our dynamic team in a pivotal role, focusing on planned and reactive maintenance across diverse locations.
Key Responsibilities:
As a vital team member, you will take the lead in service and maintenance operations across your designated sites. Your primary duties include:

  • Prioritizing maintenance and repair tasks to meet established timescales and response requirements.
  • Swiftly identifying non-repairable faults, providing detailed findings to the management team, and suggesting suitable replacements.
  • Ensuring timely completion of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules, with accurate and thorough documentation.
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical and compliance paperwork at all times.
  • Participating in an out-of-hours standby rota, coordinating cover during holidays or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Responding promptly to service call requests, assessing job requirements, and conducting repairs as needed.
  • Conducting surveys and completing reports as directed by the refrigeration supervisor/RFM.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards in an efficient, cost-effective manner while complying with company Health and Safety policies.



Qualifications and Skills:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications, skills, and abilities:

  • NVQ/C&G Refrigeration Based Qualification.
  • Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB certificate.
  • Ability to read drawings and diagnose equipment issues.
  • Strong equipment diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Possession of a current full driving license is essential.
  • Availability for out-of-hours working and participation in standby rota.
