We are currently on the lookout for a dedicated Psychology graduate to join our dynamic team at a mainstream primary school situated in Oldham. This enriching role provides you with the chance to apply your expertise to foster the social, emotional, and academic growth of children.
Position: Psychology Graduate Support Assistant
Location: Oldham
Start Date: May 1st, 2024
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized support to students, individually and in group settings, to bolster their emotional well-being and academic advancement.
Collaborate closely with teachers and fellow school staff to implement effective strategies and interventions that cultivate positive behavior and enhance learning outcomes.
Conduct assessments and observations to identify specific needs and devise customized support plans.
Cultivate an inclusive and nurturing learning atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a relevant field.
Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and making a positive difference in their lives.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong connections with students, colleagues, and parents.
Adaptability and resilience to thrive in the dynamic pace of an educational environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
