Read design drawings for the purpose of manufacturing.
Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment i.e. electronic welders, gas shielded arc welders and gas welders.
Select appropriate electrodes, gas orifices, filters rods and / or torch tips based on type of materials being welded and desired head size and penetration for correct welds.
Accept and unload any delivery of raw material, manufacturing consumables, parts etc.Notify office-based colleagues in a timely manner of any issues which require tools or associated production materials, consumables etc.Complete Job cards, and note down production times for each process, down-time/lost production time, and other details required by the business to assist with internal costings, pricing etc.
Following induction/training, work with minimum supervision to meet the business objectives.
Ensure compliance with Company Policies and Procedures and Health & Safety Policies.
