Produce quality products in a safe and controlled manner
Be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment directly to production supervisors.
As Production Operative, you will be responsible for:
Working various production machinery throughout the manufacturing process, including lathes, milling machines and saws
Carrying out basic quality and testing checks
Adhering to all safety guidelines dictating the production and handling of materials in the factory
Reporting issues or problems with production to the immediate supervisor
Identifying and reporting to the immediate supervisor, any issues which impact production and machinery malfunctions
Carrying out general fabrication inclusive of burning/cutting/welding
Providing mechanical assistance on assembly/trailers
Assisting in all other areas of production in accordance with operational requirements.]
About the rewards In the role of Production Operative, you will work 37 hours per week and the shifts are:
Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 16:15 (Days)
Monday to Thursday 16:15 - 02:00 (Nights) may be required and the night shift benefits from a 23% premium
Overtime rates are x 1.33 Monday to Friday, x 1.5 on Saturday and x 2.0 on Sunday.There is a salary on offer of up to £26,964 per annum depending on experience and benefits include:

To be successful for the role of Production Operative, the following abilities are required:

Their high-pressure cylinders are a critical component for a number of end applications, from high-pressure systems in naval submarines and surface vessels to oxygen cylinders in fighter jets, from the bulk storage of industrial gases to air pressure vessels in floating oil platform motion compensation systems and in major developments more recently in hydrogen transport refuelling and energy storage.
