We are currently seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to join our team in Chesterfield. Key Skills Required:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners
  • Creativity and innovation in lesson planning and delivery
  • Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding of the developmental needs of young children
  • Collaborative mindset, willing to work closely with colleagues and parents
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate and engaging lessons that support children's holistic development across all areas of learning
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to explore and learn
  • Assess children's progress and development regularly, using a variety of observation and assessment techniques
  • Provide timely feedback to children, parents, and colleagues, and collaborate with other professionals to address individual learning needs
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular communication and opportunities for parental involvement in children's learning
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members to plan and implement a rich and varied curriculum that meets the needs and interests of all children
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and development, and contribute to the overall assessment and reporting process
