Orion Rail Recruitment are looking for a Maintenance Team Leader to join a well-established Rolling Stock Maintenance and Overhaul depot. Job description for the Maintenance Team Leader
Responsible for the work planning co-ordination
The daily management of the warm storage team to ensure that all customer requests are met and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
Based from Cambridge depot, but travelling to and from our customers locations to provide warm storage support and work as prescribed by the customer.
Carrying out and recording of start of shift briefs and daily safety meetings and ensuring any issues that are unable to be dealt with are escalated.
Carrying out fitter duties to ensure minimum service levels are achieved.
Updating the customers maintenance management system as required and completing all relevant customer documentation.
Implementation and maintenance of safety systems, production efficiency
Use of all PPE in accordance with standards and local instructions
Qualifications required for the Maintenance Team Leader
Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
NVQ Level 3 qualification in Traction and Rolling Stock or a recognised apprenticeship.
