Position Overview: We are seeking a Contract Electronics Engineer with expertise in high-speed digital design to join our team on a 6-month contract basis, with the possibility of extension. Based in the vibrant South of England, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-speed digital circuits and systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and specifications for new products.
- Conduct thorough testing and analysis to ensure the performance and reliability of electronic designs.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues throughout the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in high-speed digital technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in high-speed digital design, including FPGA and ASIC development.
- Proficiency with EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, and Mentor Graphics.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
