Bring your skills to the mix as a Principal Hydraulic Structur es Engineer , y ou'll play a vital role in every aspect of civil engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad .

We speciali s e in all aspects of water engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Education. We continue to provide industry-leading water engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. Your Purpose

  • Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

What you can bring

  • Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Sound knowledge in design of gates, sluices and other hydraulic structures for dams, reservoirs and flood control .
  • Familiarity with access and accessibility, construction logistics , and with current UK design standards and working practices.
  • Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following local and national guidance.
