About Our Client

Michael Page have been appointed to recruit for an permanent Mechanical Maintenance Engineer opportunity based in Kent. We are proud to be partnering with a long standing business who have recently experienced a period of growth.

Job Description

  • Developing and testing mechanical systems and products.
  • Conducting research and implementing new design procedures.
  • Providing technical advice to clients and team members.
  • Overseeing maintenance programmes and quality control systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborating with project managers and other engineers to ensure project success.
  • Evaluating mechanical systems and products by conducting research and applying principles of mechanics.
  • Providing technical support to the Engineering & Manufacturing team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Mechanical Engineer should have:

  • Time Served apprenticeship
  • Proven practical experience within heavy industry
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
