OurDermatology Department consists of a multi-disciplinary team, includingDermatologists, Registrars and Dermatology Specialist Nurses. TheDermatology Department is based in our Outpatient building which wascommissioned in 2019. The Dermatology space is purpose built.
TheCanterbury DHB are in the unique position where we are seeking a medicalDermatologist to join our service on a permanent basis. We are open to someonewho is looking for either full-time or part-time work, so you can enjoy ourwonderful lifestyle and attractions.
Youwill work in a dedicated Dermatology space, that includes four purpose-builtconsult rooms, two procedure rooms, phototherapy and patch testingsuites. Along with outpatient clinics, there will be some inpatientconsultation services for medical patients admitted under other services. You will be supported by a Dermatology registrar, a Clinical Nurse Specialistand a trained Dermatology nurse. Youwill be supported to develop collegial relationships with public Dermatologyservices in both Waikato and Auckland, in order to further you development andcontinuing medical education.
