This role will join a small and dedicated Marketing and Communications team, who will be the first point of contact for existing and prospective donors and responsible for helping to drive supporter engagement, acquisition, and retention. Meet agreed revenue and retention goals across our Individual Giving and Community Fundraising budgets within agreed expenditure budgets, including but not limited to one-time giving, regular giving and third-party fundraisers.
Manage our existing donors, delivering exceptional lifetime supporter care and engagement communications to improve donor retention and financial support.
Develop impactful and inspiring marketing and communications materials for both print and digital channels.

Curate our Salesforce CRM effectively to maintain accurate supporter information, create and analyse reports and segment data to support tailored communications and donor insight.
Support the Head of Marketing and third-party agencies with the development of organisational systems (e.g. donation platforms) to maximise fundraising.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for global issues, women’s empowerment and human rights who has excellent communication skills, including written and verbal to engage and enthuse supporters for Women for Women International. We are looking for someone to join the team who is creative and able to identify and maximise opportunities and can build and manage successful relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Previous charity sector experience is desirable, however, transferable talents will also be considered for this role.

Working closely with Marketing and Communications team and wider WfWI UK team members to ensure our alignment in reaching our strategic goals.
Working with various external agencies on third-party resources and assets development.
Fundraising & Cultivation (90%)
Meet agreed revenue goals for the Individual Giving and Community Fundraising budgets within agreed expenditure budgets, including but not limited to one-time giving, regular giving and third party fundraisers.
Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement plans, targets and KPIs for each income stream and monitor these throughout the year to ensure they are achieved. Report these regularly to the Heads of Marketing and Communications for resource allocation and contingency planning as necessary.
As part of the Marketing and Communication team, support the recruitment and cultivation of supporters within our fundraising ecosystem. Developing prospective supporters from cold contacts to passionate advocates and donors, through the development and delivery of engaging and inspiring fundraising materials and donor communications.
Leading and/or co-leading on fundraising campaigns and projects throughout the year.
Develop copy for email, website, print and advertising to both recruit new donors and inspire existing supporters.
Support delivery of a holistic digital fundraising strategy, including development of website pages and content creation.
Deliver excellent supporter care for all community donors and individual givers, developing and delivering an impactful appreciation strategy.
Manage the development and liaise with designers to produce relevant materials to support grassroots fundraisers and donors, including toolkits, presentations, leaflets, and newsletters.
Organise virtual events aimed at acquiring new supporters and retaining/engaging existing supporters.
Work closely with colleagues both in the UK and globally to deliver cohesive, aligned fundraising appeals and long-term supporter journeys.
Ensure all income from community and individual giving is coded accurately and expenditure is tracked.
Support the Marketing & Communications team in managing and responding to inbound calls, emails, and other questions/requests relating to fundraising.
Staying on top of fundraising trends and activities across the sector
Database and analytics(10%)
Processing donations from both online and offline sources.
Responsible for the creation of donor accounts, campaigns and tracking for fundraising campaigns and appeals.
Proactively manage the database to ensure that it is an effective tool for fundraising and supporter recruitment and retention.
Maintain procedures for data entry, data selections and reporting ensuring that GDPR requirements are met.
Support monthly finance admin, compiling income data from various income streams.
Generate accurate timely data selections to support our acquisition and retention strategies.
Track the daily, weekly, and monthly performance of fundraising campaigns. Produce end-of-fundraising campaign reports and analysis.
Support the Head of Marketing in the ongoing improvement and engagement with internal systems. Be responsible for personal learning and development and participate in supervision, training, and meetings as required.
A passion for global issues, women’s empowerment and human rights.
Creative and entrepreneurial, identifies and maximises opportunities.
Strong computer skills, including experience working with Word, Excel and databases.
Flexible and willing to learn.
Previous experience working in a charity.
Previous experience working into a marketing/fundraising team.
Project management experience.
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems – preferably Salesforce.
Experience of using mass email marketing system – preferably Marketing Cloud.
Experience using a website content management system (creating webpages).
May require bending, lifting, standing, sitting, computer work, etc.
