My client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of Oracle Cloud and finance-related projects. This role involves directing, coordinating, implementing, and executing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives and commitments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Oracle Cloud - End to end project experience with Oracle Cloud, understanding some of the key underpinnings of this technology and the skills required.

Project Management Experience: Proven experience as a project manager, particularly in implementing Oracle as a finance system.

Change Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of people and change management activities necessary for delivering complex programs.

Finance Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with implementing finance systems and the associated processes, such as order to cash, planning, budgeting and forecasting, procure to pay, and record to report.

Collaboration with Partners: Experience working with third-party partners to achieve successful project outcomes.

Core Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Implementation: Lead the planning and execution of key projects, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, dependencies, tasks, resource requirements, and budget.

Strategic and Operational Management: Manage the implementation of strategic and operational requirements, including planning and scheduling timelines, tracking deliverables, leading and coordinating teams, and providing direction and support.

Creation of Project Artefacts: Develop essential project documents, including business cases, project initiation documents, detailed project plans, resource profiles, budget trackers, and RAID logs.

Timeline and Resource Monitoring: Consolidate project information, monitor resources and timescales, and manage significant risks, issues, changes, and obstacles.

Management of Priorities and Escalations: Oversee priorities, dependencies, tolerances, and escalations across multiple work streams, ensuring compliance with project delivery frameworks.

Financial Management: Provide advice on the financial aspects of the project, including budget management and resource allocation.

Stakeholder Communication: Monitor progress and report to all stakeholders, addressing any problems and offering solutions.

Governance Compliance: Operate within existing governance structures, ensuring clear and agreed-upon governance arrangements, and work with senior stakeholders to align the project with strategic goals.

Strategic and Operational Advice: Advise Governance Groups on relevant strategic and operational issues, providing project evaluations and assessments of results.

Development of Tools and Techniques: Provide expertise in developing and promoting appropriate tools and techniques to support project duties.
