The Company

A supplier to the high street, ecommerce brands and have several inhouse brands, are seeking an ACCOUNT MANAGER who has experience with major retailers / handling multiple accounts to join their busy team.u00a0u00a0Key accounts include JDSPORTS and FOOTASYLUM.

This business has a small, close team who are passionate about product. Being a small team, everyone has a say and will be involved in various functions accordingly.

The business is steadily growing and therefore looking to recruit new team members who fit within their mindset and business ambitions.

The Role:

  • To be the point of contact for customer and supplier for a selection of key brands / retailers.
  • Customer liaison / meetings to discuss requirements / take briefs.
  • Liaise with tech and design department to gather all info for sampling / costing.
  • Sending brief our to supplier.
  • Costing & lead time negotiation.
  • Confirming & raising orders with customer / supplier
  • Management of Critical path from order to delivery
  • Sample and trim management - hold fit / comments meetings with design / tech team and feedback to customers / suppliers.
  • Liaise with tech team for ethical and technical / testing related matters.
  • Liaise with shipping team to ensure timely delivery and booking in process.

  • Ideally have experience in menswear fashion clothing in a similar role.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking and self-motivated.
  • A flexible attitude to the challenges of a developing business.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
