Our client, a leading supplier of aluminium products, is seeking an Extrusion Manager to join their growing team at their cutting-edge facility in British Columbia, Canada. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a high-output department, drive operational excellence, and foster collaboration across a dynamic organisation.

As the Extrusion Manager, you’ll bring your technical expertise and leadership skills to manage a team of supervisors and operators, ensuring seamless operations and outstanding results. With a focus on stabilising workflows, driving standardisation, and mentoring your team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all extrusion operations across multiple shifts, ensuring seamless production and meeting quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and operators, fostering accountability and professional growth.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues systematically, focusing on root cause analysis.
  • Design and implement a training programme while maintaining and auditing SOPs.
  • Drive continuous improvement, stabilise processes, and foster a collaborative, excellence-focused culture.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Extensive expertise in aluminium extrusion and press operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Proven leadership in managing and mentoring teams.
  • Proficiency in interpreting die and profile drawings to ensure compatibility with press capabilities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with high-tech, automated systems

Location:

This role is based at our client’s state-of-the-art facility in British Columbia, Canada.

Remuneration:

The package includes a base salary of C$125,000 - C$140,000
