We're looking fora Commissioning Manager tojoin our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team on our SevernTrent Water Framework working from a major site for us at Wanlip.In this role you'll focus on commissioning of works on a WasteWater Treatment Works – Circa £150m invalue.

Location: - Wanlip,Leicestershire.

Contract: Permanent- FullTime – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired,just let us know

Responsibilities

As Commissioning Manager,you'll be responsible for commissioning activities covering theSevern Trent site at Wanlip which is a wastewater treatment workssite. Within the role you'll develop and own the commissioningstrategy, and develop and own with Severn Trent the projecthandover documentation on projectcompletion.

Your dayto day will include:

  • Managing thecommissioning team and engineers including the recruitment processwith senior project team
  • Working closely andcollaboratively with the senior project team to develop efficient,practical and safe solutions throughout the programme intoconstruction and beyond
  • Review and manage theconstruction programme, mitigate delays and work with the team toachieve positive outcomes
  • Ensure regulatory,legislative, HSE, company and end client standards are maintainedthroughout the delivery programme.
  • Communicateand manage relationships both internal andexternal.

What are we lookingfor?

Thisrole of Commissioning Manager isgreat for you if you hold:

  • Proventrack record in delivering large and multidiscipline MEICA projectsand experience of planning the commissioning process
  • Knowledge, understanding and experience in the watersector
  • Be knowledgeable of the following:pumps/pipe systems, sludge, ozone generation systems, chemicaldosing, water/wastewater treatment process equipment
  • Experience of 3D modelling for commissioning engagement,planning, strategising review, etc. (not for model creation ordesign)
