Job Role: Contracts Manager Area: Higham Salary: £60k + Package PW Construction Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager for one of our clients based in Higham. Balancing office and site-based work you will be responsible for the management of a variety of jobs from conception to completion and be responsible and accountable for all aspects of delivery, including but not limited to quoting, HSEQ, reporting and billing. You must be able to represent our client in a strategic manner that gives clients and customers the confidence and surety that this highly demanding position requires. Responsibilities: Be the lead contact for a range of clients for all works/projects and requests related to their site Assist with the development and maintenance of key client relations Working with the wider operations team, manage and route a pool of engineers across a number of jobs. Development of contracts and service offerings for a range of clients Procurement and management of relevant plant, materials, and sub-contractors for works delivery. Regular site visits to scope works/projects, monitor works progress, and ensure client expectations are met. Ensuring that risk assessments and method statements are prepared and monitored as part of the company’s health and safety regulations. Preparation of works reports, including both internal and external documents. Pricing and preparing tender submissions and service contracts. Creating new business opportunities and/or extension of services across existing clients. Ensure progress update reports and operational planning meetings are carried out so all works and expectations are clear and delivered. Liaising with the accounts department to ensure accurate and timely dispatch of invoicing on completion of works – checking and amending all invoicing prior to release. Produce clear, accurate and defined scope of work instructions to sub-contractors to ensure accurate deliver within works timeframes. Provide leadership and mentorship to technical staff, including apprentices. Utilizing the companies CRM software – ensure all jobs on the system are clear, transparent and accurate. The ideal candidate will be: HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Previous Experience in a client facing management role. Experience in technical works reporting. A broad understanding of many different types of commercial HVAC systems. This role is being handled by Chloe and Samantha, PW Construction Recruitment.
