This applies only to roles with a full time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above. (Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 12 and above (currently £32,555 per annum / £16.92 per hour)
To contribute to the management of the school/service and the delivery of quality education through the appropriate involvement of the pupils, staff, parents, multi-disciplinary agencies and the community it serves. This will be done in accordance with the Authority’s Strategic Plan, the school’s/service’s Development Plan, National Priorities, Local Improvement Objectives, in accordance with current legislation, and within national and local agreements.
Appropriate teaching qualification

- provide professional leadership and support to colleagues within Faculty/assigned area of responsibility- manage assigned financial and physical resources

- lead curriculum development and quality assurance

- where required, lead, implement and manage whole school policies including, where appropriate, guidance and pastoral care

- review and support professional needs, and performance of colleagues through continuous professional development

- work in partnership with parents, other professional, agencies and other schools
