Accounts Payable Officer Function: FINANCE LOCAL Grade: LOCATION: ABERDEEN Location: ABERDEEN Reports To: - AP & JV Team lead Direct Reports: None Position summary The Accounts Payable Officer will receive, scan, and pay supplier’s invoices within accounting systems at SAP company code level (generally legal entity level). The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for proper processing of suppliers invoices to allow the payment in due time with the right level of quality and internal control. Ensure tax validity and correct classification and booking of VAT according to requirements and VAT reporting set-up in SAP
Book invoice within accounting SAP system (X flow)
Ensure payment of invoices in line with payment process and contract obligations
Help AP Team Lead reconcile vendor ledger
Support Supply Chain in solving in GR/IR accounts
Support the Timewriting team to solve invoice issues in order to process Contractor invoices
Provide required information to management accounts to assist with cash flow management
Other E&P Functions (Project & Engineering, Drilling, Operations etc)
Experience in a similar financial position ()
Experience in SAP transactional methodology ()
Understanding of general accounting tools ()
: English.

Ability to analyse multiple sources of data, make connections & create high quality solutions, prioritising the key issues and consequences.
