Commercial Gas Engineer Qualifications/Experience

Qualifications/Experience:
- Full UK driving license
- CSCS Skills Card
- Gas Safe Registered (commercial qualifications essential)
- Installation of boilers/water heaters/warm air heaters
- Service & fault diagnosis experience on commercial gas appliances
- Service & fault diagnosis experience on AHU and associated equipment
- Mechanical and electrical skillset
- IPAF Passport
- Computer/Tablet literate

Job Role & Responsibilities

- Attend breakdowns
- Site surveys for installation works
- Installing HVAC components
- Performing quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely
- Carrying out maintenance on HVAC systems
- Fault finding and repairs
- Requirement to be on call approximately 1 week in 5 (engineers are paid to be on call)
- Completion and submission of daily worksheets, test sheets and timesheets via electronic tablet or mobile phone
- At times engineers will be required to plan their allocated workload and procure their own materials via local wholesalers

Pay & Benefits

- Full-time position
- Salary £46,644.00 per annum
- Pay will be reviewed in line with the JIB National Working Agreement on an annual basis normally in January
- Paid monthly in arrears
- Van, tablet and mobile phone will be provided as part of the role
- Your employment will be based from Cutler House, Wakefield Road, Bradford, BD4 7LU
- Your working hours will be 45 hours per week, although you will be expected to work overtime as and when required to suit the projects on which you are working
- Your holiday entitlement will be 24 days per year plus statutory holidays as set out in the JIB Agreement
- The Company operates a contributory pension scheme to which you will automatically be enrolled following your first month’s service
- Health Insurance will be provided as per the JIB Agreement
- Accommodation is booked by the Company, typically Travelodge with a meal allowance provided per night
