Job Responsibilities

The Corporate Service Manager assists the GM - Product Support by leading the Service department operations for the organization, to provide a high level of Customer Satisfaction, grow service sales, and ensure adequate Training, Development, and Support for the Service Team . Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Collaborate with GM Product Support to develop, maintain, and manage the execution of the service department strategic business plan for the organization
  • Collaborate with GM Product Support to create and monitor annual service department goals and budget for the entire organization, in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives
  • Develop, communicate, and train consistent, standardized processes & Best Practices within each branch Service dept.
  • Monitor and report key Service dept. metrics on a monthly basis
  • Provide support, communication, and overall direction to the Service organization
  • Act as a resource for Service Management in each store to run an effective Service department
  • Monitor service department performance relative to labor sales and expense control across the organization in line with the organization’s objectives
  • Identify and develop new opportunities to achieve departmental growth
  • Assist GM Product Support with Deere relationship as it relates to the Service dept.
  • Creates and facilitates the execution of the service department marketing plan including advertising, marketing and promotional programs to grow labor sales for the organization
  • Involved with recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for the Service Department

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working in a supervisory position in a service department or similar role
  • Experience leading a team and working cooperatively in a team environment
  • Strong coaching and employee development skills
  • Experience communicating effectively both one-on-one and in a group setting
  • Experience developing, analyzing, and interpreting internal reports
  • Demonstrated experience consistently meeting performance metrics preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software especially Excel
  • Experience with agriculture, off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment
  • Post-secondary education or High School Diploma and equivalent experience is required, a Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
