As a Lead Instrument Technician, you will participate in the execution of Instrumentation and Control Systems maintenance works and associated activities to maximise plant and equipment availability, maintain asset integrity, and achieve business objectives.
In your first few weeks in this Instrument Technician role, you can expect to:
  • Direct the Instrumentation maintenance team to undertake routine inspection, preventative servicing and minor adjustment of equipment
  • Review planned, and corrective maintenance work orders and ensure all preparations are fully undertaken before commencement of works
  • Coordinate with production operations personnel for start-up and shut-down of process and utility systems and warn of any interruption to Control, Shut-down or Fire & Gas systems
  • Implement planned and corrective repairs on equipment and systems, ensuring all works are carried out in compliance and conformance with company procedures

  • Vocational Qualification or Certification in Maintenance & Experience in Oil & Gas
  • Previous industrial & technical experience in the oil industry
  • Knowledge of Operations Integrity Management System, statutory Health and Safety Procedures, Maintenance Manuals and Safe Systems of Work
