On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a DataGovernance Analyst for an initial 6 month contract based in the BanksLondon Office on a hybrid working model of 3 days per week from theoffice and 2 days from home.
There are four business divisions: the Corporate Bank,the Investment Bank, the Private Bank and the Asset Manager DWS. Transaction Monitoring & Screening GlobalData Steward Office is responsible for Data Governance, Data QualityManagement (DQM) & Data Programme delivery covering key functionswithin Transaction Monitoring and Screening. Working as part of theDQM team the Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for supportingthe Data Quality Management Framework and for contributing towards thecentral Data Analytics capability. Data Quality Management Frameworkcovers Data Quality Standards, Data lineage & Controls, Exception & DQmonitoring & MI reporting plus Data Profiling and Analysis to ensureData is fit for purpose.
Data Quality Assessment & DQ Issue Analysis: Aspart of the Global Data Steward Function, manage the DQ assessmentagainst requirements for Transaction Monitoring (TM) Modelling teamsglobally, including analysis.
Data Quality ManagementFramework: Work with SMEs across the line of business and technologyto document, deliver and maintain new / updated Data Quality rules &product refinements.
Design and provision MIS reporting anddashboards to provide oversight of Data quality within the function,identify data gaps and manage to remediation.
Manage toresolution regulatory and audit findings
Data QualityStandards & Controls: Engaging with TM colleagues, Data Stewards &Process Owners to establish data quality requirements and the RTBprocesses required to maintain. Ensure they are linked to businessoutcomes and drive front to back view of data quality via use of datalineage (Waltz, Solidatus) and meta-data tools (Collibra) as well asimplement and adhere to standards, procedures aligned to the datapolicy and framework
University degree or appropriate professionalexperience and experience of working in Financial Services preferablywithin Anti-Financial Crime, Compliance, or other Non-Financial Riskarea.
Good knowledge of analysis and communication tools i.e.Microsoft Office skills and Proficiency at SQL and Nice-to-havePython, VBA, working with data lakes and big data, reporting toolssuch as Tableau, Qlik etc.
Ability to work independently as well aspart of a team and virtual working groups
Ability to conductanalyses on data sets and present results in a meaningful way
Good understanding of Data Governance, Quality Management,Modelling, Analytics etc.
