Quality Assurance Inspector Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
⦁ Carry out Inspection of all parts to the Company and the Company's customer/s drawing specification.
⦁ Carry out CMM inspection of all parts to the Company and the Company's customer/s drawing specifications.
⦁ Carry out inspection of goods inward products to the Company and the Company's customer/s drawing specification.
⦁ Be able to carry out calibration of the Company's equipment to the Company and the Company's customer/s drawing specification.
⦁ Carry out manual and CMM first off inspection.
⦁ Oversee on the job training of Trainee Quality Inspector's, as and when requested by the Production Supervisor or Quality Assurance Manager.
⦁ Be able to organise, document and report results for dimensional inspection to be used in FAIR and PPAP documentation.
⦁ Generate QCN for non-conforming products with precise information to enable clear understanding of the non- conformance.
⦁ Participate in the 8d process and improvement events.
⦁ Assist in the day to day Quality requirements of the Company, under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Manager and Production Supervisor
⦁ Ensure quality standards are met for customers by following customer specifications and reporting non-conformances to the Quality Assurance Manager.
⦁ Ensure all actions, are linked to the drive for continuous improvement and the striving for zero defects.
⦁ To carry out additional tasks under the guidance and direction of the Quality Assurance Manager and/ or the Production Supervisor, where required.
Quality Assurance Inspector Experience and Skills:
⦁ Previous Quality/Inspection experience.
⦁ Proficient in English writing and verbal skills.
⦁ Knowledge of using CMM.
⦁ Experience in CMM Programming.
⦁ Calibration experience.
⦁ Previous experience in an engineering industry.
⦁ Previous experience in an Aerospace industry
