The Education Network is currently looking to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant to work within one of our partnership schools based in the Walbottle area. The role will be long-term term initially starting on supply with the opportunity to be employed directly by the school for the right candidate. Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30
Duration: Temp until Christmas with the possibility of going perm directly after Christmas
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and learning of young children within an SEND Provision. Providing one-on-one support to students who may require additional help.
Promoting a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all children.To excel in this role, you should possess:

Previous experience working within a Primary School and prior SEND experience preferred
Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
Full understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods and responsibilities
Ability to be flexible and adapt to new learning environments
A supportive and welcoming school environment.
Opportunities for professional development and growth.
