Production Leader
Paignton Hours: Monday-Friday/ 8am-5pm Salary: £26k-£27k+ (depending on experience) Start date: 1st of May
Acorn is currently seeking a Production Leader who will drive and lead the production team to improve processes and procedures. Plan and oversee daily production activities to meet all KPI's such as plan production builds, prioritise builds, and raise build plans.- Coordinate the picking of required stock and delegate builds to the production team. Attend meetings and communicate objectives to the team- Maintain required stock levels- Motivate staff through guidance, coaching and support- Monitor staff performance and carry out disciplinary action when necessary- Support the team by assisting the production line when needed
Experience as a Supervisor within production or manufacturing - Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Package - Experience and familiarity with 5S and continuous improvement - Strong leadership skills - Excellent communication skills - Strong organisational skills - Experience of stock management systems
