Are you an English graduate who’s searching for an improving school in which to gain valuable experience of supporting GCSE students to aid in a future teaching training application?

English Academic Coach
***Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to GCSE English students alongside a talented and experienced English department.

The Graduate:
To be successful as an English Academic Coach, you will have at least a bachelor’s degree in English Language, Literature, or a related subject. You will have a passion for the education and wellbeing of KS3 and KS4 students, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the English language. As an English Academic Coach, your responsibilities will include assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivery of engaging GCSE English lessons, as well as aiding in providing students with constructive and personal feedback. In order to create a positive learning environment and form strong bonds with colleagues, you will enthusiastically partake in activities with the wider school community.

By providing a personalised curriculum, pastoral care and career information advice, staff assist every pupil to develop and excel in all that they do.
