Your Role The transport supervisor plays a pivotal role in the smooth functioning of logistics operations, overseeing the transportation of goods from point of origin to destination. With a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills, transport supervisor will deal with any operational challenges that arise, striving for efficiency and customer satisfaction. Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team providing guidance, training and support as needed
  • Coordinate the day to day transportation activities to ensure optimal efficiency and resource utilisation
  • Ensure all transportation operations comply with safety standards, company policies minimising risks and liabilities
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely manner
  • Track key performance indicators and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity
  • Communicate relevant information, updates and instructions clearly and effectively
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a transportation environment
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, and safety standards
  • Strong Leadership skills with ability to motivate a team
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
