Eldridge Electrical Ltd are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team of skilled operatives. As a Labourer you will play a crucial role in supporting all of our projects, including civil engineering, slot cutting, street lighting, diamond drilling, plant hire, and traffic management.

Eldridge is based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire – you will need to report to this depot on a daily basis at 7am. Eldridge covers the surrounding areas as far as London, Essex, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, and Northamptonshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the set-up and clean-up of sites
  • Perform general labour tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
  • Operate hand and power tools
  • Follow health and safety guidelines on-site
  • Support skilled tradespeople as needed
  • Commitment to timekeeping is essential.

Skills:

  • Physical fitness and stamina to handle manual labour tasks
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
  • Basic knowledge and experience with highway/electrical equipment is advantageous
  • Health and safety awareness on sites
  • Must have a full valid UK driving license
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Industry accreditations including a CSCS card and street works card would be desirable but not essential.
