Cyber Business Analyst (Inside IR35)

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) is a non-departmental public body created through the Energy Act 2004 .
We have 17 sites including the first fleet of nuclear power stations, research centres, fuel-related facilities, and Sellafield, which has the largest radioactive inventory and the most complex facilities to decommission.
We are sponsored by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) and supported by Dounreay, Magnox, Nuclear Waste Services, Nuclear Transport Solutions and Sellafield. The Scottish government also has a governance role, working closely with DESNZ to ensure its expectations are met.
We do not have a hands-on role in cleaning up our facilities. Instead, we deliver our mission through others, primarily 12 businesses.
decommissioning and cleaning up these nuclear facilities ensuring that all waste products, both radioactive and non-radioactive, are safely managed.
implementing policy on the long-term management of nuclear waste.
developing UK-wide strategy and plans for nuclear Low Level Waste (LLW).
scrutinising the decommissioning plans of EDF Energy, who own the operating fleet of Advanced Gas Cooled Reactor (AGR) nuclear power stations.
The NDA are embarking on a large transformation of both technologies and staff locations to enable the organisation to be a more secure environment and at the same time have the necessary flexibility to be able to be shared systems across the NDA Group of operating companies and the government.
We are keen to speak to any Business Analysts that have a working background within cyber related backgrounds/environments. A Cyber Business Analyst is required for the NDA Change and Transformation team (Tech Refresh Tower) to gather requirements from the business and their partners to enable the project to create the scope for the delivery of Technical projects and test the implementations.
Government Networks, MOD where information shared might be of a sensitive nature and understand these constraints and hold a level of appropriate security clearances.
Technologies such as Azure, Microsoft, WAN, Legacy IT and Cyber related technologies are largely in use within the NDA and also wider Group requirements are to be taken into consideration during the Project lifecycle and gathering of the requirements.
Any previous exposure to technology projects and waterfall, agile project delivery methods would be of great advantage.
