Class 2 Driver

Monday - Friday: 6.00AM - 6.00PM

Pay Rate: £13.50 - £22.25 PER HOUR

  • client will except newly qualified class 2 drivers

Day to Day Duties

  • Driving/operating Class 2 Vehicles to deliver and collect skips
  • Tipping commercial and household waste
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed

Essential Skills

  • Valid UK Category C Licence
  • Valid CPC and DIGI card
  • Experience driving four, six or eight wheelers

What training is provided?

  • Full Driving Assessment
  • Skip and Tipper Training provided over the course of a week
