WHAT TO EXPECT

The Product Owner - xHEV Charging System Design role sits within the Electric Power Control Chapter and deployed into (dis)Charging Product Group.

This role requires technical expertise and experience in charging system design & delivery.

  • Manages JLR requirement deck & relevant system artefacts for Charging feature & System design.
  • Will be the SPoC for system design activities for our xHEV products.
  • Will work with Charging TS to design and develop JLR specific use cases and systems for xHEV.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Responsible to lead the squad along with the Scrum Master for the development and delivery of charging system design.
  • Responsible to define the quarter and sprint goals and the relevant priorities to the squads.
  • Supporting the squad(s) in design reviews, FMEAs and any problem-solving activities relevant to xHEV Charging System product delivery.
  • Leading network definition and approval, cascade requirements and system artefacts to downstream stakeholders and support review & approval post cascade.
  • working with inhouse software teams, suppliers and downstream stakeholder squads, agile ceremonies to facilitate xHEV vehicle level delivery.
  • Maximising the value of the product resulting from the work of the squad (PO), group (GPO), or domain (DPO)

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Must have significant knowledge & practical experience of High Voltage Electronic Charging systems.
  • Must have significant knowledge & practical experience of the software development processes.
  • Project management, Leadership and planning skills are essential, along with good teamwork and communication skills. Strategic thinking is also essential.
  • Significant experience of D&R, Quality processes including 8D, FMA process as well as requirements and standards writing
  • Knowledge on common charging standards & protocols
