Job Title: Team Leader

Location: 26-28 St David's Way, St David's Centre, CF10 2DP

Contracted Hours Available: 8 hour contract. 4 vacancies

Please note this role is a fixed term contract.

We are passionate about celebrating our customers' life moments and are now looking for a Team Leader to join our very successful Card Factory family to help fulfil this. With a real focus on customer experience and operational excellence, our Team Leaders play a key part in driving the success of our stores.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting your Store Manager in their goals to delivering commercial growth and developing a team culture of putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. You will lead the way for our store teams, not only in the absence of the Store Manager but leading the team to deliver great standards and exceptional service every day. You will be as passionate about celebrating our customers' life moments as we are.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in delivering exceptional service every day, putting the customer at the heart of everything we do
  • Support the Store Manager in delivering commercial growth and achieving store targets
  • Ensure high standards of store presentation and cleanliness are maintained at all times
  • Ability to review store performance data and make recommendations for improvements
  • Take a proactive approach to employee engagement, coaching and development
  • Identify business opportunities and make recommendations to the Store Manager
  • Manage stock control and store administration as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Key Requirements:

  • Customer centric with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Good leadership skills and a positive, forward-thinking approach
  • Comfortable reviewing store performance data and making recommendations for improvements
  • Commercially minded, able to identify business opportunities and make recommendations
  • Engaging and enthusiastic team player
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
