Join Veolia Water Technologies European Digital Team as a Technical Sales Engineer, specialising in B2B SaaS solutions, to accompany our clients in their ecological transformation. In this role, you will be a driving force behind the growth journey of our real-time wastewater treatment plant optimization solution, Hubgrade. You will deliver tailor-made, sustainability oriented solutions to our clients across Europe in collaboration with your peers in each country. Your technical acumen will support the team's success, from lead generation to nurturing, tender support, proposal development, closing sales, and ensuring exceptional customer success.
Collaborate closely with a diverse, cross-functional team, drawing insights and inspiration from colleagues in fields like process engineering, IoT, automation etc... Your active participation in all steps of the sales cycle and in parts of product development will make a significant impact. Job DescriptionWithin the Projects & Innovation team of VWT Europe TDS (Techno Delivery & Services ) region, reporting to the Digital Sales & Business Development manager, your main missions will be :
Lead sales activities, develop key business relations in European geographies and ensure tender delivery
Collaborate closely with the European sales team to create proposals that align with customer needs, attending customer meetings to gain deeper insights.
Own the proposal's development process and successfully turn it into sales, while ensuring all deliverables align with expectations, deadlines and key milestones of all stakeholders.
Develop compelling sales support tools (presentations, case studies, brochures etc…) showing your understanding of customer needs and the transformative value our solutions bring
Gather insights and collaborate with hubgrade product teams to acquire a deep understanding of the value of the solution and bring your own market knowledge to the product development responsible
Facilitate, animate and report sales activity in the european community with peers in other departments and international BUs
Actively review, refine and improve our sales practices and proposal development process
Keep our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system up-to-date with all relevant information to support management strategic decisions
Support Marketing in successfully delivering digital lead generation campaigns
Enable growth of recurrent service offerings at key customers accounts in close collaboration with service process engineers.
QualificationsYou have an educational background in chemical engineering and a specialization or experience in business development/marketing
Business acumen with a digital mindset. You are fluent in English with strong communication skills.
Additional InformationThis position requires to travel 30 to 50 days a year within Europe. Position could be located in one of the business units of the VWT Europe perimeter.
