The ideal candidate will need to be committed to understanding and catering to the needs of all pupils that they work with. 
Previous experience working with ALN pupils or vulnerable adults on a 1:1 or group basis
Provide support in a manner which facilitates the pupils' cognitive development, by removing barriers to learning
Modelling positive behaviour and dealing with disruption according to school behaviour policy for ALN pupils
Promote pupil inclusion throughout the school
Have a valid, enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to get one)
Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
